Visiting Baseball Stadiums

Last Friday, July 11, 2008, Tammie and I visited our 12th major league baseball stadium. We hope to visit every major league stadium. At the rate we are going it will take another 15 years to accomplish and by then there will be new stadiums built, which will mean teams will be repeated. We saw the Kansas City Royals defeat the Seattle Mariners. Hochevar pitched a terrific game going 7 complete innings. The final score was 3-1. This is a beautiful park with waterfalls in the outfield and the biggest big screen I have ever seen. Kauffman Stadium as well as Arrowhead (where the Chiefs play) next door, are undergoing major renovations. After the game we were treated to a fireworks show and upon entering we were given cowboy hats. All in all, it was a great time.

Chasing the Muse

I try to write something everyday. Sometimes I am more organized and actually contribute to a project that someday will see print. At other times I just ramble posting something here or on my website's blog, which is more oriented to my job. Actually, I have been here very little. I will try to keep this blog oriented more to writing issues and other things.

Why does the writing muse at times enter with abandon and at other times seem like a slippery slope?
