Autumn Pine Needles

The leaves look lovely as they change color and turn the landscape into a bowl of many colors. The needles of our pine tree turn yellow though the sight is unwelcome.  They fall poisoning the grass lawn below.  We live at the edge of a pine forest.  The grass makes for the unnatural habitat as does the Maple Tree.  It is as if there is a battle going on between the natural habitat of the Pine Tree and the injected habitat attempted by me and others in the neighborhood.  Who will win?
