Joe shows his humanity

When Joe  Biden talked about being a single parent and worrying whether his son would make it, he got emotional and showed his humanity.  The response was in the context of talking about his "achilles heal."  He was honest about his current economic status for which he is grateful and then talked about where he had come from.  Whether or not the pundits declare him winner of the debate, at that moment he won my heart.
